CFS 2018 ended with a blast and many of you may still feel high from the tournament.
We prepared an interview with CFS 2018 runner-up ruLegends.
Check out their thoughts on CFS 2018, and their resolutions for this year.

How would you rate your 2018?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: We worked very hard on our game, trained a lot more than usual and always did the analysis of our matches. Our team was very short of playing practice in LAN tournaments and I, as the captain, was a little worried about this, but when the CFS started, I realized that we had done a great team work.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: It was the best year for our team because we reached the finals in CFS2018. We trained hard for the whole year and did very well in the tournament.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: 2018 was special for us. It gave us a chance to participate in CFPL and CFS and gain valuable gaming expertise. Before that we had little experience in LAN tournaments and it made us very nervous. We trained hard to reach the finals and it was totally worth it. Our dream came true. It is a great achievement for our team.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: 2018 was full of surprises! I was a part of several well-known Russian CrossFire teams and ended up in ruLegends. It was my dream to take part in an international tournament. It turned into reality when we made it to CFS 2018, one of the major competitions of the year. I can’t even express how happy I am about it.

Your team made it to the finals. What do you think was your team’s strength?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: I think the whole thing is that we practiced a lot together and always looked for the enemy’s vulnerable position. Speaking specifically about the game, when we played Blacklist tried to control the map in order to do our tactics, and for Global Risk we tried to play more individually, which allowed us to collect more information on the map.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: Our main strength is great teamwork.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: Team play combined with great individual skills.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: For half a year before the tournament we worked on our individual skills and team play improvement.

What was the first thing you did when you got back to Russia after CFS?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: I made a call to my family, and when I arrived home I went to bed.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: When I came home, I decided to catch up with my studies.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: I finally met my family and they had a small party for me.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: When I got back, I met my girlfriend and we celebrated our victory.

How did you spent your new year?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: I spent the New Year with my family, and then went for a walk with my friends.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: I spent it together with my friends and family.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: I spent it at home with my closest people.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: I spent holidays at home with my close people.

What is your overall new year’s resolution?
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: My New Year’s resolution is to never do things by halves and to never give up.

How will you prepare for the next tournament?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: As soon as there is information on the upcoming tournaments, we will begin to sit with the team until midnight and train. We will also spend a lot of time analyzing our games and playing a lot individually.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: I hope that in 2019 we will have a chance to participate in such tournaments as CFPL, CFGI and IEM EXPO. We train very hard for each competition and aim to win.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: We had worked out a training plan that we tested successfully during the CFS preparation. Our focus was on teamwork improvement, and it will stay this way for now.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: When a new tournament is announced, we will start intensive team trainings. For now we are working on our individual techniques.

Other than playing games, what do you like to do during free time?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: I like walking in the fresh air, watching TV series and reading books.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: Right now I am all into my university studies. But whenever I have some free time, I spend it with my friends.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: I enjoy going to the gym, taking walks and spending time with my friends.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: I usually spend my free time with the people I love.

What are your plans with your prize money?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: I have not decided yet, but probably it will be a car.
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: I’m going to buy a new car.
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: I’m going to buy a flat.
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: I’d like to buy a flat when I finish my studies.

Any last words to your fans?
Alexei ‘treak’ Bobylev: Many thanks for the support of all our fans all over the world. We feel your support wherever you are. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
Maksim ‘drace’ Smirnov: Happy New Year to all our fans! Thank you for your support. You helped us a lot!
Iurii ‘vais’ Skachkov: I’d like to thank all our fans for their support. It means a lot to us and gives us strength to train more and win. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
Andrei ‘strey’ Solovev: Hard work and determination can be even more important than any natural gift. If you don’t succeed, it only means that you’re trying not hard enough.
