Hello, CROSSFIRE esports fans.
The 8th day of CFS 2022 Grand Finals also ended successfully.
Let’s see what kind of results happened today.
[Quarterfinals Match 3 : BaiSha Gaming vs Black Dragons] - Black Widow / Compound / Ankara
Another step to reaching the glory of the CF e-sports champion, the third quarterfinal match to advance to the semifinals opened between the Chinese and Brazilian teams at Black Widow. The first game was literally a neck-and-neck race. Fierce battle continued in every round to the each point where they exhausted all the time of the round, and a breathtaking battle ensued, exchanging one round everytime. In the sixth round, the Chinese team requested tactical pause to reorganize the operation, and in the ninth round, the Brazilian team requested the same tactical pause, showing the concentration of the match in which both teams use all their tactics. The first set entered extra time, ended with a victory of Chinese team.
The second set unfolded in a completely different way from the first set. Perhaps due to the lack of concentration in the first set, the Brazilian team had a chronic problem of concentration again, and all the strategy are also collapsed due to BaiSha Gaming's indiscriminate attack, earning only one round score and giving up the second set with a 10-1 score. Even in the third set in Ankara, it seemed difficult to reverse the whole flow of the match. Aktion and mg each showed good skills and seemed to keep their strong defense several times, but they eventually ended their final journey at the CFS 2022 Grand Final by giving up a series of rounds in front of Chinese team, led by N9 and Baby.
[Quarterfinals Match 4 : Imperial vs Anubis Gaming] - Sub Base / Port
The second match was the battle between Brazil and Egypt. Imperial, who aimed for the championship at the CFS Grand Final every time but didn't reached every year, showed a further growth this year. The first set at Sub Base, fefe's excellent strategy drives with powerful sniper aim and adrF's steady rifle kill. It was enough to easily take the first set with a 10-3 score, consistently pressing Anubis Gaming. In the second set at Port, Snare and Beva consistently scored kills, creating a neck-to-neck situation until 7-7, providing an opportunity to the victory, but Imperial's consecutive kills in the second half continued to press and the ended second set with a 10-7 score. And Anubis Gaming, who gave up two sets in a row, was under all-out pressure on Imperial's offense and defense during the match, ending his journey to the CFS 2022 Grand Final with a 10-3 score.
Finally, CFS 2022 Grand Final is coming to an end!
