The last season of Philippines CFEL 2016 came to an end on August 27th.
Before going to the playoffs, we’d like to provide you a review of the league stage of Season 3.

The highest ranking 6 teams advanced to the playoffs.
Philippines CFEL 2016 Season 3 playoffs took place on the Event Center in SM CITY CEBU on August 27th.

There was a roaring crowd inside SM CITY CEBU, visitors watching the games up until the 3rd floor!
Except for the final match which was BO5, all the matches were played Best-of-3 format.

The finals match was played between brother teams, Pacific Wara and Pacific Macta.
From the beginning, the two teams fiercely battled against each other,
going to extra rounds on the first map, Black Widow.
Wara was able to take the first 4 rounds during the overtime, gaining the first map 13:12.
With a good start, Pacific Wara easily took the second map on Sub Base.
Though they were one map away from winning, Pacific Macta turned the tables and
caught up to Pacific Wara by taking Ankara 10:7 and Mexico by 10:4.
In the decisive map, Factory, the two Pacific teams gave their best, but in the end,
it was Pacific Macta who once again took the victory with a score of 10:6.

Pacific Macta has marked its name in the history of CFEL, consecutively winning all 3 seasons of this years’ Philippines CFEL.
Not only did they take prize and championship title, but also the spot to the CFS INVITATIONAL MANILA to be hosted
in their country on October 15th and 16th.
We’ll see if they can still obtain the trophy against international teams in CFS INVITATIONAL MANILA.
