Interview with Anubis Gaming

As CFS 2019 ended with a blast, we’ve met Anubis-Gaming to hear about their thoughts and words about CFS 2019,
and also their future goals for 2020!

1. It is such a pleasure to interview Anubis Gaming, one of the best CROSSFIRE team in the MENA region.
   Please introduce yourself and tell us the roles you take in your team.

  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer: My name is Sherif Moneer, I'm 22 years old and my position is lurker.
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: My name is Mohamed Ahmed, I'm 20 years old and my role is Attacker.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda: My name is Hossam, 22 years old from Egypt. I've played CROSSFIRE for 5 years.
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: My name is Youssef, 22 years old, and I’ve played CROSSFIRE since 2009.
                                       I have 5 years of experience in competitive CROSSFIRE.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: My name is Ahmad, and I love playing CROSSFIRE as a sniper.
 

2. It was Anubis Gaming’s first participation in CFS 2019 Grand Finals, give us your thoughts on CFS 2019 Grand Finals.
  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer: It was a really exciting tournament, we learned a lot and gained great experience from the best teams in the world
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: Such an incredible tournament that I'm so grateful to be a part of it, and the best thing, in my opinion is seeing the
                                       other teams from different regions in real life, such a great experience.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: The stage was so good, and the staff were so cooperative.

3. Every member of Anubis Gaming showed their potential from CFSI Egypt 2019 and CFS 2019 Grand Finals.
   Could you tell us your strength and your weakness that needs to be improved?

  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer:  My strength is that I can play with AK and AWM and so many positions. The weakness that I am
                                    working on to improve is tilting and raging.
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: I think my strength is playing safe with good aim, and my weakness is getting a bit nervous when
                                       I face the best players. I am trying to work on that this year.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda: My strength is the dedication to the game and the will to always improve. My weakness is that I am not consistent.
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: My strength is that I'm addicted to training my aim to be the best aimer, and my weakness that I'm working on is
                                      the movement in some scenarios.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: My strength is quick scoping with AWM, and my weakness that I'm working on to improve is flick shots and reflexes.
 

4. What made Anubis Gaming the best team in the MENA region? What makes Anubis Gaming step forward?
    Does Anubis Gaming have its own team spirit? Please share us your thoughts.

  Sherif 'Monkey' Moneer: We practiced so hard to be the best team of the MENA region and our organization also helped us a lot with the
                                     gaming house, gears, etc. We have got a strong spirit and we are looking for more achievements.
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: Our confidence and the willingness to win more than any team in the region, and the hard work we put into the
                                       game.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda: Our talent and dedication to the game.
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: I think our dedication to the game and the amount of the time and effort we put into the game exceeds any team
                                       in the MENA region. The team spirit of always improving also motivates us to practice more.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: Because the team is with the best players that have the most experience compared to other teams in the MENA region.

5. Where or how do you get your motivation to be in shape as a professional CROSSFIRE player?
  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer: My friends and my family always motivates me to move forward to achieve my goals
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: My Family all the time makes me motivated and my teammates.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda: I get it from myself and from my will to be better.
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: I get my motivation from my team, fans, and my family who always supports me. I always practice
                                       to be the best version of myself.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: I get my motivation from my teammates.
 

6. Tell us how Anubis Gaming practices during the offseason and prepare for upcoming tournaments.
  Anubis Gaming: During the offseason, we try and test new strategies as a team, and try new settings for the best possible performance
                         as individuals.

7. What is Anubis Gaming’s goal for this year?
  Anubis Gaming: Our goal is to win the championship this year as we are going to work really hard and do our best.
 

8. We want to know each member’s plans and expectations for 2020.
  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer: I have learned a lot from 2019, so I'm going to practice really hard than ever to solve all my weak points.
                                     I expect to take the championship for CFS 2020
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: I will do my best to win CFS grand finals, and I hope CROSSFIRE makes more LAN events in 2020.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda: I will push my limits to win CFS 2020
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: I will practice everyday to be the best aimer, and I expect to dominate the competitive scene in 2020.
  Ahmed ‘Snare’ Shikon: I will work really hard to be the best sniper in the world, and I expect to win CFS 2020.

9. Any words to your fans?
  Sherif ‘Monkey’ Moneer: We really thank all our fans who always cheer for us and keep us motivated even if we failed. It really makes a                                               difference with the team so we hope they keep motivating us until we achieve our goal
  Mohamed ‘Snake’ Ahmed: Thank you all for the support, stay tuned, we will surprise you this year! I promise.
  Hossam ‘Hossam’ Fouda:  I will never let you down again.
  Youssef ‘Youssef’ Hussein: I would like to thank all my fans and friends who support me and please don't stop. It means the world to me,
