Hello, CROSSFIRE esports fans.

The first day of the 2023 CFS Summer Championship ended successfully.
Even though it was the tournament's first day, six teams did their best in each game. 
Let's take a closer look at how each battle went. 


[Group B, Round 1 : Imperial (IMP) vs ALL GAMERS(AG)]
Map: Black Widow / Ankara

In the first set, AG started off with a 4-1 lead, secured by ZY's double kill. In the middle of the match, Goken's triple kill emerged, putting pressure on AG and narrowing the gap by achieving consecutive kills. Both teams exchanged points back and forth until the score reached 7-7. However, AG seized the momentum in the latter part of the set, gaining three consecutive points and ultimately closing out the first set with a score of 10-7, securing AG's victory.

Moving on to the second set, on the Ankara map, AG showcased excellent defense and took a commanding 5-1 lead. Displaying a sense of not allowing any openings, they continued the game with an 8-3 score. However, with LKK's splendid 3 kills, the point difference started to diminish. Nonetheless, AG remained steadfast and ultimately secured the victory in the second set with a score of 10-6. With this result, AG achieved a 2-0 overall score and emerged victorious.
 

[Group A, Round 1 : GV ESPORTS (GV) vs BaiSha Gaming(BS)
Map: Compound / Sub base

Set 1, BS successfully took the initiative, leading the game with a significant score difference of 5-1. Despite their best efforts, GV persevered and started narrowing the gap, reaching 6-3. However, BS's N9 achieved a remarkable 4 kills in a row, securing 4 consecutive points. With a final score of 10-5, BS comfortably claimed victory in the first set.

Set 2, BS demonstrated exceptional performance, creating a commanding score difference of 7-2 and displaying overwhelming skills. Despite the side switch, GV couldn't reduce the point gap, and ultimately, with a decisive score of 10-2, BS triumphed in the second set as well. Thus, with a final score of 2-0, BS emerged victorious.
 

[Group B, Round 2 : Pacific Macta (PM) vs CaraHouse.2L(CRH)]
Map: Ankara / Black Widow

In the first set, PM started the match with a defensive stance, securing the first 2 points. The game proceeded steadily until LUCAS unleashed a remarkable 4-kill spree, dramatically shifting the momentum. While both teams traded points back and forth, CRH eventually emerged victorious with a score of 10-6, clinching the first set.
 
Moving on to the second set, the game began calmly. PM took the lead with a score of 6-3, propelled by stellar performances. Despite DOLA's 3 kills in a single round, PM didn't easily relinquish their advantage. However, CRH and PM continued to trade points, pushing the game into overtime. With CRH's pivotal 4-kill moment, they secured a narrow 13-11 victory in the second set. With a combined score of 2-0, CRH triumphed over PM with a 2-0 victory.

The CFS SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP 2023, announced the great prelude in HCM City, Vietnam. 
It was a day full of excitement and passion.
