After 18 intense matches, the official champion of CFS APAC 2023 – Summer has been determined!
 
Let's take a look at the final leg of the journey to the championship.


[Playoffs - Match 1: CHENGDU ALL GAMERS (AG.CD) vs CaraHouse.2L (CRH)]
Maps: Ankara / Sub Base / Mexico
 
In the first set, AG.CD took a commanding lead with a score of 7:2, primarily driven by Doo's triple kill. After the side switch, AG.CD maintained a strong defense and secured match point at 9:3, ultimately winning the first set comfortably with a score of 10:4.
 
In the second set, AG.CD adopted a different strategy from the first set. As a result, both teams took turns scoring, but AG.CD still led the first half with a narrow score of 5:4. After the side switch, Even's 2v1 clutch led AG.CD to score five consecutive rounds and secure the victory, closing the second set with a final score of 10:4.
 
In the third set, ZY set the tone with a quadruple kill, giving CRH an early lead and allowing them to finish the first half with a score of 6:3. After the side switch, AG.CD opted for a slower tempo in their operations and managed to catch up to 6:6. In the latter part of the match, Even secured multiple kills, leading AG.CD to win the third set with a score of 10:7.
 
In the end, AG.CD defeated CRH with a 3:0 score and advanced to the next round of the tournament.


[Playoffs - Match 2: Pacific Macta (PM) vs. CHENGDU ALL GAMERS (AG.CD)]

In the first set, Jwei from AG.CD achieved a triple kill in the opening and aggressively seized control of point A. As a result, they concluded the first half with a lead of 6:3. Even after changing sides, AG.CD operated the game steadily and reached a comfortable match point at 9:3. However, PM managed to make a comeback by securing five consecutive rounds, creating a close match. Nevertheless, AG.CD maintained their focus and secured the victory in the first set with a score of 10:8.

Moving on to the second set, both teams took turns scoring right from the beginning. The first half ended in a close 5:4 score, with strong performances from Aldrin and JSTNN of PM, as well as Doo from AG.CD. After changing sides, Jwei from AG.CD dominated the game by securing five kills in a single round, leading to consecutive round wins. They reached match point at 9:4. Even though PM managed to secure two rounds, AG.CD, led by Even and ZQ, won the second set with a score of 10:6.

In the third set, AG.CD displayed a solid defense on the crucial point. Jwei secured four kills in a single round, leading to consecutive points. The first half ended with AG.CD leading 6:3. Even after changing sides, AG.CD continued to dominate the game and reached a score of 9:4, securing the match point. In the end, AG.CD won the third set with a score of 10:6.

Ultimately, AG.CD defeated PM with a score of 3:0, securing their spot in the grand finals.

[Finals: BaiSha Gaming (BS) vs. CHENGDU ALL GAMERS (AG.CD)]

In the first set, AG.CD dominated with a decisive 7:2 finish. After switching sides, BS tried to catch up in points, but AG.CD continued to control the game, winning the first set with a score of 10:5.
 
Moving on to the second set, BS displayed strong defense, scoring 4 consecutive points and leading the first half with a score of 6:3. After switching sides, AG.CD adopted a slower point-capturing strategy, hoping for a comeback, but BS demonstrated a formidable offense, winning the second set with a score of 10:8.
 
In the third set, AG.CD showcased solid defense on the crucial point. Even started off with an impressive quad kill, and they eventually closed the first half with a lead of 6:3. After switching sides, AG.CD secured four consecutive points, and ZQ's jump-point double kill sealed the deal, resulting in a flawless victory with a score of 10:3.
 
Moving on to the fourth set, AG.CD demonstrated versatile defensive tactics. However, N9 achieved a triple kill towards the end of the first half, giving BS a lead of 5:4. After switching sides, Xxiao, with A-point sniping securing 4 kills and 3 kills, allowed BS to take the lead at 7:5. AG.CD fought back with consecutive points, leading 9:8 and securing a match point. They won the fourth set in a thrilling fashion with a score of 10:8.
 
In the end, AG.CD emerged victorious with a 3:1 score against BS, claiming the title of CFS APAC 2023 Series Summer Season Champion!
