Find professional CROSSFIRE teams/players and put them on the spot.

It’s August and this month it’s all about analyzing famous and well known crossfire players. In order to analyze a player I’m going to take a look on general facts which I’m going to list. Besides that I’m trying to figure out specific play methods, character trades and individual strategies. Therefore I’ve investigated various platforms like Youtube which is my main source and furthermore I try to behold social media like Instagram or Facebook.

Today’s analysis is about the German crossfire player “Jin” also known as “oOJinOo”

General facts

Name: Yannick “Jin” Gemp
Date of Birth: 10/06/1995
Age: (2016) 21
Origin: Hamburg, Germany
Crossfire: Crossfire EU (Europe)
Crosshair Type: Type B
Resolution: 1440x900
Preferred Weapon: M4A1
Teams: MTF-Gaming, dotpiXels, IceNine, FLIPSID3, Penta Sports, ABSOLUTE (current)

Yannick "Jin" Gemp is known for being one of the best european rifle players. Besides the fact that his aim is on point in nearly every situation, he is known for his various memberships in high-skilled teams like his current team ABSOLUTE. Jin participated in WCG competitions just as WCA LAN's.

As I just mentioned I’m going to analyze video content from which it’s always hard to precisely tell how a player acts, simply because of the fact that most clips are ingame highlights. Therefore I’m going to distinguish between some public clips and cup/CFS content.

Analysis

So this time we're focusing on "Jin" and I've chosen different youtube material from his channel in order to analyze some of his tactical aspects. It's interesting to see how players in crossfire and from different regions set apart and at this point  I'd like to refer to "xfam0us" who I analyzed as well. Jin has always been a great rifle player especially with his M4A1, you don't often see Yannick using the AK47 excepting national and international qualifications and tournaments. Crossfire changed over the time and so players like Jin had to adapt, what I mean is that players started wearing bullet proof which is an allowed item since the competitive rules changed, and that's one of the reason why the M4A1 sort of extinct during the time and players had to go for the powerful AK47. However Jin is very flexible when it comes to his weapon decision, although he is a supposed main rifle you often see Jin sniping. In my opinion that's one of the reason that make him so unique and influencing in the crossfire competitive scene. Opponents can't really focus on him because his play style isn't easy to predict. Sometimes you see him playing the rifle, sometimes you see him scoping all over the map and that's what I mean. Another thing I'd like to mention is his terrific desert eagle play (secondary weapon). Because of his amazing aim he's literally able to use his handgun as a main weapon. If we take a look on his uploaded content we see a huge amount of headshots caused from his secondary weapon in every conceivable situation. Unlike "xfam0usx" who often plays aggressive, Jin is rather the player who has the control and functions as Leader with good map overview. This aspect combined with his good aim is crucial within the team play and has proven why Jin isn't a player to replace. He often forces opponents to kill him and they run into his crosshair. All in all Yannick "Jin" Gemp is a perfect team player and leader who is able to manage specific situations with his raw skill as well as he closes out games nearly on his own. I guess if he would concentrate on one particular weapon like for example the sniper rifle he could do even better but on the other hand it's Jin's personal style of playing and that's what makes him unique. I haven't even talked about his tactical abilities yet - they are awesome! Jin is such a brilliant and experienced player who's always focused and surprises with new tactical methods and ideas.
You see him shooting from different angles and positions which many other players don't even know what's really impressing. With that said I'd like to close this short but still meaningful analysis. Hope you've learned at least a bit about Jin aka. "the aim god" aka. "the brain" :D
