Find professional CROSSFIRE teams/players and put them on the spot.
It’s August and this month it’s all about analyzing famous and well known crossfire players. In order to analyze a player I’m going to take a look on general facts which I’m going to list. Besides that I’m trying to figure out specific play methods, character trades and individual strategies. Therefore I’ve investigated various platforms like Youtube which is my main source and furthermore I try to behold social media like Instagram or Facebook.
Today’s analysis is about the German crossfire player “nLs” also known as “e4ster”
General facts

Age: (2016) 23

Preferred Weapon: AK47

The German crossfire scene is currently in a huge upturn when it comes to new players and national/international influence and participation. Niels Harms is a true old school player and had some major impact on the German Crossfire. However he is still representing this generation of strong players nowadays. Besides various strong teams he also played for the german national team back in 2014.
I’m going to analyze video content from which it’s always hard to precisely tell how a player acts, simply because of the fact that most clips are ingame highlights. Therefore I’m going to distinguish between some public clips and cup/CFS content.
I've chosen the following video content by nLs

Analysis
Looking at nLs as a player it's once again not that easy to tell how he works within his matches, the only thing I can mention are certain strategies and typical moves. There's a lot of competitive material and various other content uploaded on his personal youtube channel but still he hasn't played a lot in international matches excepting the last Crossfire global invitational where he managed to achieve the 3rd place right after the chinese teams.
This can't come from nowhere and I'm going to show you the proof for his Success. First of all I'd like to describe two specific playing methods which belong exactly to nLs. Number one is his aggressive play right after the round has started. His strong and convincing rifle aim is the thing he can rely on and it leads him to play confident. What I mean is that we see nLs pushing towards the enemies within the first seconds quite often and more often than not he manages to pick up at least one opponent and much more likely two, three or even more (at least in public matches). There's a major difference when it comes to important matches for example in competitive gaming, cups etc. In that type of games we see him lurking from behind and playing sort of sneaky in certain situations but not all of the time. Of course it's always worth a try to break up the flow of the game with a straight push, that opponents don't expect, like he does in public. Niels works efficient within the team and is very experienced due to his long time of playing the game, he also orders the team in some of the situations and we hear him talking quite and doing tactics in his videos quite often. This pattern cam be seen in nearly every of his plays and videos and is his common way of playing. I've watched a lot of nLs and I'm also following him on different social media and I can say that he puts a lot of effort into his play, promotion of certain sponsors or the team, his youtube and daily uploads, and to keep his community up to date. And finally there's still another thing with more or less impact in his play that has to be mentioned and that is his secondary weapon usw. As I just said above I've watched several videos and nLs in my opinion is by far one of the best Desert Eagle (handgun) players at least in crossfire europe. What's even more inspiring isn't his skill with his secondary gun, it's rather the frequency he's using it, namely very often.
Summing up nLs is the role model of a modern crossfire player nowadays with his variety and play style.
