CFS 2020 Grand Finals: Day 2 Results

The second day of CFS 2020 Grand Finals, the Group Stage of Group B between the 3 teams who won the qualifier tournaments
from their respective region have been finalized with intense matches as expected. Let’s get into details of today’s matches how it
has proceeded.

[Group B Match 1 - Lazarus vs SuperValiant Gaming]

The first set in Black Widow resulted in a one-sided match as SuperValiant Gaming successfully locked down Lazarus’s attack in the
first half. Finishing the first half to 6:3, SuperValiant Gaming continued their momentum as they took total control in the Black List
and therefore, concluded the first set to 10:4.

The winner from the second set in Ankara was decided in the second half. After tracing Lazarus from 5:7, N9 from SuperValiant Gaming
came out huge by opening the bombsite with 3 kills in 2 rounds. N9’s huge plays triggered to reverse the score to 7:8, and led to finally
take over the second set to 10:8

[Group B Match 2 – SuperValiant Gaming vs Black Dragons]

The first set from the two huge teams started in Sub Base. After taking round after round each other in the first half, SuperValiant
Gaming dominated in the second half as they only gave 1 round to the Black Dragons in the Global Risk side. Black Dragons could
not recover during the entire second half and had to give away the first set to 10:5 to their opponents.

Once again SuperValiant Gaming dominated the scene in the second set in Compound. After successfully finishing the first half to
6:3, the second half started with DBQ’s 1v2 clutch in the Black Lists side. It seemed that the Black Dragons had a hard time recovering
from the aggressive tactics that SuperValiant Gaming performed during the second half. Giving huge pressure to the Black Dragons,
SuperValiant Gaming finished the match to 10:6 and achieved their second win today.

[Group 3 Match 3 – Black Dragons vs Lazarus]

The last match of Day 2 between Black Dragons and Lazarus turned out to be a one-sided match as Black Dragons totally dominated
in Ankara and Black Widow. With a total score of 2:0, Black Dragons secured the 2^nd place in the Group Stage.

As of day 2 of CFS 2020 Grand Finals, the Group Stage has been finalized and the Tournament Stage will start from tomorrow.
