Hello mercenaries. The 4-day long journey of the CFS 2017 Grand Finals is now over. How did you enjoy it?
 
Once again SV achieved the trophy and defended their throne as World Champion. This year’s tournament proved to be the grandest tournament in all of CFS history. Want to look into it together?
 

 
This year’s tournament caught the attention of CFS fans since the beginning of the tournament.
First of all the tough wall of China started to crumble. The no.1 candidate to the throne SV were cornered by the Winners Match of Group A. Another Chinese team HG was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Vietnam’s EVA TEAM. Besides EVA TEAM, Philippine’s Pacific Macta also showed strong performance by successfully advancing to the semifinals, proving the point that Smilegate’s local professional league CFEL is bringing up the performance of the local professional teams.
 
On the final day there was an astonishing performance made by drones before the start of the Grand Final match, catching the eyes of the Chinese fans. Around 20 drones flew up the air and started the countdown of the match, and changed their formation to express the BI of the CFS. When the trophy rose up from the bottom of the stage they started escorting the trophy, once again providing a splendid sight to the audience.
 
There were also various programs available to the audience who came to the venue. Shooting game consoles and VR experience booth were available in sight where the visitors experienced new technology. Also an autograph session of the CFS Chinese talents was available, bringing laughter to the fans.
 
Smilegate has given its’ best effort to continuously improve CFS in order to motivate the professional players. For continuous development of the CF eSports, various investments were made to improve the observation system and enhance the in-game graphics
 
These changes brought a dynamic competition between the teams, hyphening the interest of the international fans through SNS.
