As last year tournament’s champion team and with 3 champion titles earned in 2017, ‘Super Valiant Gaming(SV)’, the world’s strongest team has claimed the championship in CFS GF 2017 after all. After the first day’s shocking defeat, and after the other Chinese team ‘HG. Longzhu’ has been eliminated to enter the finals, there was a lot to handle and overcome which made this tournament special.
 
We’ve met the world’s best team SV who has earned 2 championships in a row and has contributed to the sixth championship of China.


 
1. You’ve succeeded in achieving 2 championships in a row. Also, you have promised to take revenge on the opposing team that defeated HG in yesterday’s interview. We would like to know how you feel. 
(Together) We only have one thing to say. We’re very happy. It can’t get any better than today.
 
2. The map for set 1 was ‘Mexico’ which is the map that EVA is most confident in. You’ve been pressured by many threats such as losing to EVA with a score of 9:4 by the middle of the game, how did you overcome such hardships? 
If we had more time to do more research on the Mexico map yesterday, we may have won the game with less difficulty. A big difference in score has occurred in the beginning of the game, but gradually won by catching up on each round without losing concentration. We think the fact that we didn’t give up till the end was what led us to our victory.
 
3. You have mentioned the importance of the map order in yesterday’s interview. Was today’s map orders satisfying? 
It was not. There was a big risk for us to lose focus because the first map to appear was Mexico. We were confident that we could overcome this, but we were still not in the best situation.
 
4. Everyone expected to be a close match after set 1, but unlike what was expected, you’ve defeated EVA by 3:0. What’s your secret? 
In the first set, team EVA was definitely in a better position since it was EVA team’s most confident map Mexico. Team EVA has a lot of young players so if they do take the first mover’s advantage, it’s difficult to stop them, but at the same time, if they lose their position, they get mentally stressed easier than us. We could see that EVA was mentally stressed after the turnaround in points in set 1, and we didn’t miss that opportunity which led to our victory.
 
5. It was the best year for you in 2017. Including the championship title for CFPL, you were able to top all international tournaments except for the Vietnam Invitational. What are your plans for next year? Would it be to top all tournaments as champion? 
We haven’t thought a lot about what to achieve next year yet. But the first thing we’d like to do is rest with family during Chinese New Year since we did achieve the championship this year. We weren’t able to go home a lot due to long days away from home with all of the practicing.
 
6. Your team members have more experience than other team members. Physical condition is a very important factor in FPS, what do you think?  
In FPS, it is of course to keep a good physical condition and have fast hands, but we think it is even more important to have a lot of experience to reflect on. Our team has much more experience than other teams and we think this is our biggest strength compared to other teams. That’s why we don’t really worry too much about that part.
 
7. Who’s the first person you’d want to tell the great news on your victory?  
Family. All members of our family watched each game in real-time and gave their full support by encouraging us and congratulating us. We love you and thank you so much for everything.
