ALL GAMER’s remarkable comeback by claiming their 6th championship title
 



The CFPL Season 15 finally concluded on March 28th with a final match between ALL GAMERS and KingZone. The finals played through an online game in the best-of-five series. Although the finals were held under an unusual circumstance, fans’ high expectations towards the match and the extraordinary plays by the two finalists’ heated up the vibe during the entire time of the match.

ALL GAMERS have come out victorious and claimed their 6th championship title in CFPL as they outplayed KingZone with a total score of 3:1, proving they are undeniably the best team ever produced in China.

Meanwhile, even though KingZone’s potential wasn’t enough to overwhelm the former 5th-time champion, placing 2nd in the playoffs from their first appearance in the league led the fans to expect the underdogs to shake the future competitive CROSSFIRE scene in China.
 




First set – ALL GAMERS dominance in Sub Base

Map one was Sub Base, which was picked by ALL GAMERS. From the beginning of the first set, it was clearly seen that ALL GAMERS was very well prepared in both defensive and offensive sides. ALL GAMER’s solid defense in their default formation, an aggressive push that was initiated on an exact perfect time, and ferocious attack based on excellent teamwork and effective use of the utilities have shut down KingZone with ease. As ALL GAMERS took full control round after round, they easily took the first set by finishing 10:4.




Second set – KingZone’s counterattack in Ankara

The second map was KingZone’s pick of Ankara, where KingZone had displayed a hopeful performance. KingZone took an early lead by taking four consecutive rounds. Though KingZone stood up 4:0, ALL GAMERS started to find their pace after their A site attack, so that they rallied back to catch up four rounds and finishing the first half 5:4 in favor of KingZone. A back-and-forth slugfest ensued at the beginning of the second half. However, KingZone outclassed ALL GAMERS on the offensive side, finishing to 10:7, as their continuous attack on B Site crushed ALL GAMERS.
 



Third set – Intense battle

The series moved on to the third map, ALL GAMERS’ pick of Port, which more closely contested than the second map. ALL GAMERS’ solid B site defense blocked KingZone’s set-up attack three times in a row, leading to 3:0. However, KingZone paved an alternative to attacking mid and A site, which led the first half 4:5 in favor of ALL GAMERS. KingZone once again revealed their weakness on their B site defense in the second half as they couldn’t stop ALL GAMERS’ set-up attack. However, on the other hand, KingZone performed a stubborn defense on A Site, trailing ALL GAMERS to 9:8. In the last round of the third set, ALL GAMERS had a chance to close out the game. ALL GAMERS’ decision to attack B Site looked promising as they easily entered the B site. But KingZone Lxm@’s unbelievable backup to B site with an ace kill brought to determine the winning team in overtime. However, leaving behind the regular rounds that went on in an intense battle, ALL GAMERS eventually took the third set, easily outplaying KingZone in overtime to 5:0.
 



Final set – ALL GAMERS claims their sixth championship title

The finals of CFPL Season 15 ended on Black Widow, the fourth map of the series. KingZone seemed to have a good start as they took the first round by successfully holding ALL GAMERS in B site. However, after the first round, KingZone’s defense started to collapse. ALL GAMERS didn’t miss this opportunity and went on a massive winning streak to 7 rounds. As KingZone was easily outclassed by ALL GAMERS in the first half finishing 7:2, they tried their very best in the second half to bounce back and change the game by taking three rounds in the second half. But ALL GAMERS only gave up three rounds total before closing out the final set 10:5 and, therefore, became the champion of CFPL Season 15.
