CFS 2021 RF : America Division - Day 3 Results

Hello, CROSSFIRE esports fans!

The last day of CFS 2021 Regional Finals : America Division is over!
We would like to congratulate Imperial for securing the final spot at CFS 2021 Grand Finals!

Please take a look the summary of day 3 of CFS 2021 Regional Finals – America Division

[Match 1: PG eSports vs MEDELLIN GAMES]
Map 1: Compounds / Map 2: Port / Map 3: Black Widow

With MDL_vnzera joining the 1st match of the playoffs, MEDELLIN GAMES seemed to overpower PG eSports and kept a decent lead for the first half of the set. However, PG eSports started to make a comeback in the second half and forced MEDELLIN GAMES into extra rounds. Both teams kept trading a win back and forth and ended up going all the way to the golden round where MEDELLIN GAMES came out victorious leaving the final score as 13:12.

The second set was very similar to the previous one as MEDELLIN GAMES lost their upper hand in the second half and ended up going to extra rounds. PG eSports took MEDELLIN GAMES offguard and took the victory of set 2 with a score 13:9.

With each team having a win in their hands the third set was to become an important battle for both teams. Just like the previous sets MEDELLIN GAMES kept the upper hand for the first half of the set but started to slip in the second half. PG eSports got the better of MEDELLIN GAMES and used that momentum to take the set home with a score 10:7 and automatically moved up to the next match against Imperial.

Map 1: Port / Map 2: Ankara / Map 3: Compound

Against PG eSports, Imperial showed highly focused team plays and movements during the whole
set 1 match and pushed PG eSports so hardly and successfully made 1 set as victory with a score of 10:4.
Despite Imperial’s rush, PG eSports didn’t give up and tried overcoming the situation in set 2 but couldn’t passed through the sturdy formation and speedy attack plays.

Finally, Imperial got their next set 2 match as well with a score of 10:4, which is same points with set 1 match.
Since this match was the last final chance to get the remained 1 left ticket to the CFS 2021 Grand Finals, all both 2 teams are showed all strategies and potentials on this stage.

[Match 3: Black Dragons vs Imperial]
Map 1: Ankara / Map 2: Port / Map 3: Black Widow / Map 4: Sun Base / Map 5: Compound

The final match of this journey was truly meaningful in so many aspects. Both 2 teams have shown well balanced and concentrated plays during all matches. All players are didn’t lose their focus till the end of the final set games. The first set was led by Imperial few more steps, controlled the first round by quick rush and adaptive attack play, succeeded to get the first set with a score of 10:5.

Right after the 1st set, the 2nd set was the hottest and best round in overall tournament stages.
Like the title of rival match, whole 2nd rounds had been going head-to-head and one of the fiery sets in this match. Score of two teams were reached 12:12 through extra rounds and jumped to golden round finally, and Imperial get the 2nd rounds as well with a score of 13:12.

But in the 3rd round, Black Dragon also shown that they will still have a shot to turn over, they made the extra round situation and got their first set with a score of 13:10 and even more, they get the next 4th round with a score of 13:11, so set scores goes 2:2 – the dramatic stage.
And last battels is finished with a score 10:8 and Imperials took the RF champion finally!

Please give a big applause to the owners of the CFS 2021 Regional Finals, above 2 teams from EUMENA Division, 2 teams are also fixed from AMERICA Division now. Please keep an eye to these owners for the next grand journey to the CFS 2021 Grand Finals!
